Engagement party on a plane or on a cruise may sound
surprising. But this what's happening in today's engagement party as
people are coming up with innovative ideas to celebrate their engagement
ceremony. If anybody is planning such theme it not only requires big
budget but a lot of planning. Other than these innovative parties mostly
the kind of celebration that is seen are parties in a banquet hall, the
place of the bride and groom or any kind of community hall. In
traditional Indian marriage Engagement is an important ceremony as it
marks the beginning of the relationship not only between two individuals

Traditional Indian style includes lots of flowers, bright red and golden

are used. Bright color carpets are used all over the hall to give a

The engagement décor varies according to different culture and
community. In different regions there are different décor. For
example in Gujarati wedding there is more usage of mirror work, heavy
embroidery, wooden furniture and vibrant colors. In Rajasthani wedding
people use more of color and bandhani print clothes. So the décor
changes according to the region. Sometimes decoration is done according
